Who is Sky?

Sky is your AI journaling companion. Unlike typical AI assistants, Sky doesn’t try to solve your problems or give advice. Instead, Sky helps you explore your own thoughts through thoughtful questions.

How Sky Works

Initial Prompts

After you write a few sentences, Sky offers an initial prompt - a question designed to help you go deeper:
“You mentioned feeling overwhelmed. What specific part feels most pressing right now?”
You can:
  • Click the prompt to continue writing in response
  • Request a different prompt if it doesn’t resonate
  • Keep writing and ignore the prompt entirely

Deeper Questions

As you continue writing, Sky may offer deeper prompts that build on what you’ve shared:
“You’ve talked about your work stress and your relationship with your sister. Do you see any connection between these?”
These prompts help you notice patterns you might miss on your own.

Tips for Working with Sky

Sky responds to what you write. The more honest you are, the more relevant the prompts become.
If a prompt sparks something, follow it. If it doesn’t, skip it. You’re in control.
Take your time with responses. There’s no timer, no pressure.
If a prompt makes you uncomfortable, that might be worth exploring. But only if you want to.

What Sky Notices

After you submit, Sky shares observations about your entry. These might include:
  • Themes that appeared in your writing
  • Emotions you expressed (even indirectly)
  • Questions that might be worth sitting with
Sky’s observations are reflections, not judgments. There’s no right or wrong way to journal.

Privacy Note

Sky processes your entries to generate prompts, but your journal content is:
  • Encrypted at rest and in transit
  • Never used to train AI models
  • Only accessible to you
